  • Paulding Hospital Replies to Suit
    The lawsuit filed against Paulding County Hospital (PCH) by former employee Dr. James Gray does not involve issues with patient care.  Rather, the allegations relate to the ending of Dr. Gray's employment with PCH. 

  • Fairground Drive closing while tower safety is studied
    PAULDING – Local officials are taking safety precautions regarding a recent engineering study on the county-owned communications tower located at the west end of the county fairgrounds parking lot located in the Village of Paulding.
  • Increased courthouse security begins May 2
    PAULDING – Starting Monday, increased security measures will be put in place in the Paulding County Courthouse, including limiting access and searching bags.
  • Payne Elementary again Battle of the Books champs
    PAULDING – For the second year in a row, Payne Elementary School’s Battle of the Books team was victorious in this countywide reading competition.

    The team, made up of a fifth-grader and five sixth-graders, answered more questions correctly to ease out a win over Grover Hill’s team during the April 13 finals.
