PAYNE – The Wayne Trace Performing Arts Association will present the musical of Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man.”

A cast and crew of over 50 junior and senior high students have been working hard to bring a fun-filled performance that will take you to the small Iowa town of River City and hear the familiar songs of “Seventy-Six Trombones” and “Wells Fargo Wagon.”

The Payne Elementary Auditorium will be the site of the musical on Thursday and Friday, March 16-17 at 7:30 p.m. and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 19.

Doors open 45 minutes prior to show time for ticket sales and doors to the auditorium open 30 minutes prior. Elevator access is through the cafeteria on the east side of the building.

Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $5 for children/students. Presale tickets are available at Payne and Grover Hill elementary schools and the high school.
