This 1st day of November, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members present: Roy Klopfenstein, Tony Zartman, Mark Holtsberry, and Nola Ginter, Clerk.



MEETING NOTES OF APPOINTMENTS

Marsha Yeutter, Senior Center, announced the generator has been installed at the senior center. The senior center is a designated shelter during a power outage due to inclement weather or other emergency situations. The generator will provide power to operate the senior center. She noted the generator is being inspected today. Yeutter then invited the commissioners to Veterans’ Day at the senior center on Thursday, November 9, at 11:30 a.m. She reported the Paulding VFW will be funding 30 meals for the celebration. Yeutter briefly discussed her 2018 budget.



County Engineer Travis McGarvey, reported his staff have been assisting in getting the First Responder Training Facility site shovel ready. They have been moving dirt and stone around before the construction begins. McGarvey also stated the Trishe Wind Farm (Starwood) financing is in place and they will be starting the lay-down yard work soon.



EXECUTIVE SESSION

A motion was made by Holtsberry to go into executive session at 8:03 a.m. with the Paulding County Prosecutor to discuss legal matters.

At 8:32 a.m. all members present agreed to adjourn the executive session and go into regular session.

Holtsberry moved to adopt the following resolution;

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Paulding County Commissioners does hereby direct the County Auditor to make a Supplemental Appropriation in the Infrastructure Projects Fund (Fund 078); to-wit:

IN THE MATTER OF SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION (FUND 078)

Holtsberry moved to adopt the following resolution;

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Paulding County Commissioners does hereby direct the County Auditor to make a Supplemental Appropriation in the Infrastructure Projects Fund (Fund 078); to-wit:

IN THE MATTER OF AMENDING THE 2017 ANNUAL APPROPRIATION (FUND 192)

Holtsberry moved to adopt the following resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners does hereby direct the County Auditor to amend the 2017 Annual Appropriation by appropriating the following in the County Health Insurance Fund (Fund 192), to-wit;

192-001-00004/County Health Insurance/HSA AMOUNT: $1,200.



IN THE MATTER OF APPROVING THE JULY 1, 2016, THROUGH JUNE 30, 2017, FINANCIAL REPORT FOR PAULDING COUNTY FAMILY AND CHILDREN FIRST PROGRAM

Holtsberry moved to adopt the following resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners does hereby approve the financial report for the Paulding County Family and Children First for the period of July 1, 2016, through June 30, 2017, as submitted by Western Buckeye Educational Service Center.
