IN THE MATTER OF AMENDING THE 2017 ANNUAL APPROPRIATION (FUND 005)

Holtsberry moved to adopt the following resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners does hereby direct the County Auditor to amend the 2017 Annual Appropriation by appropriating the following in the Special Health Fund (Fund 005), to-wit;

005-001-00001/Special Health/Salaries AMOUNT: $2,670.



IN THE MATTER OF MODIFYING THE 2017 ANNUAL APPROPRIATION (FUND 001-016)

Holtsberry moved to adopt the following resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners does hereby modify the 2017 Annual Appropriation and hereby directs the Paulding County Auditor to transfer funds; to-wit;

FROM: 001-030-00001/General Fund /Insurance/Loss Control/CORSA

TO: 001-016-00007/General Fund/Commissioners’ Buildings & Grounds/Contract Services AMOUNT: $18,893.57.



IN THE MATTER OF RENAMING AN EXPENSE LINE ITEM (FUND 001-017)

Holtsberry moved to adopt the following resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners does hereby direct the Paulding County Auditor to rename the following expense line item; to-wit;

FROM: 001-017-00014/General Fund/Sheriff/Travel

TO: 001-017-00014/General Fund/Sheriff/Fuel



IN THE MATTER OF AUTHORIZING THE PAULDING COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO DISPOSE OF A COUNTY VEHICLE

Holtsberry moved to adopt the following resolution:

WHEREAS, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code §307.12(I), If a Board of County Commissioners determines that county personal property is not needed for public use, or is obsolete or unfit for the use for which it was acquired, and that the property has no value, the board may discard or salvage that property; and

WHEREAS, Bill Edwards, Paulding County Health Department, has the following vehicle that is not needed fit for public use, or is obsolete or unfit for the use for which it was acquired, and has no value; to-wit:

1999 Chevrolet Cavalier VIN #1G1JC5245X7222973

now, therefore; BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code, Section §307.12(I), does hereby authorize the Paulding County Health Department to dispose of the above-listed vehicle.



IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTMENT IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Holtsberry moved to adopt the following resolution;

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Paulding County Commissioners do hereby appoint Heather Barnhouse to fill the full time assistant clerk position in the Paulding County Commissioners’ office at the hourly rate of $14.85; and be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, the appointment shall be effective November 1, 2017.



IN THE MATTER OF SIGNING NOTES TO BORROW FUNDS

This 6th day of November, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners signed a general obligation note with the Antwerp Exchange Bank for the CIC #1. The note is for one year, with interest due on November 6, 2018.
