PAULDING – The United Way of Paulding County held its annual campaign kickoff on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at the Paulding County Senior Center.

“We had a successful campaign (last year), but we also made some successful connections,” said Karl Mielke, vice president of the United Way of Paulding County board. The United Way works with partner agencies to mobilize the caring power of our community.

Among the agencies receiving allocations last year were the CPC Women’s Health Resource, West Ohio Food Bank, Paulding County Red Cross, Paulding County Senior Center, Paulding County 4-H and OSU Extension, Community Health Professionals and Northwest Ohio Community Action Commission (NOCAC).
