Panthers blanked by LCC

PAULDING – After a strong first quarter effort by the Paulding defense, Lima Central Catholic scored four times in a seven-minute stretch of the second stanza as the Thunderbirds rolled to a 48-0 win over the Panthers at Keysor Field Friday night.

The Panther defense blanked the Lima Central Catholic offense for the entire first quarter, but the T-Birds still held a 6-0 lead entering the second quarter.

LCC’s points came on the opening kickoff of the contest as Darius West returned the Panther kick 94-yards to the endzone for the only points of the period.
