PAULDING – Mr. and Mrs. Jerry DeLong of Paulding, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Jerry DeLong and Brenda Miller were married on Nov. 10, 1962, at the former Paulding Church of Christ by Rev. Zug.

Jerry is retired from the Dana Corporation in Fort Wayne and Brenda is retired from the Paulding County Hospital.

They are the parents of three children, Kevin (Kay) DeLong of New Haven, Ind., David DeLong of Leesburg, Ind. and Debbie (Steve) Thompson of Defiance.

They also have four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

In October, the couple celebrated the occasion with a trip to Lake Tahoe, Nevada and the surrounding areas of Carson City, Virginia City, Reno, Emerald Bay and the D.L. Bliss State Park.

Their children and grandchildren will host a party for them Friday, Nov. 23. Family and friends are invited. They ask that gifts be omitted, but greeting cards will be accepted.
