OAKWOOD – The Oakwood Village council met Aug. 26 with all council members present. Fire Chief Kenny Thomas reported that the Oakwood Fire Department has the replacement fire truck, which is a 2002 American LaFrance on a Freightliner chassis, in service.

Thomas noted that the fire truck replaces the one that had a mechanical malfunction last year and rolled into the Auglaize River.
