2 dates to sign up for Christmas for Kids

By NANCY WHITAKER

Progress Staff Writer

PAULDING – The Christmas for Kids program in Paulding County will no longer be coordinated and administrated by the Salvation Army. The program will now be taken over by the First Presbyterian Church who will no longer be doing the TGIF program. the Paulding United Methodist Church will be doing the Thank God It’s Free (TGIF) program.

Judy Short, of Job and Family Services, said, “Job and Family Services suffered a lot of budget cuts and could no longer do the program. I have worked with it for 17 years and I am just glad we found a group willing to take on this much needed community project.”
