Music, fellowship, helping others and a live nativity are among the holiday events happening this month in Paulding County. Mark your calendar now to attend:

Wednesday, Dec. 8 –

Christmas For Kids live drive from 7-9 a.m. at Wayne Trace High School, and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at First Federal Bank in Paulding.

Free community dinner from 5-7 p.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, located on CR 151 near Grover Hill.

Thursday, Dec. 9 –

Antwerp Grade 2-3 winter concert, 7 p.m.

Wayne Trace High School holiday concert in the high school gym, 7 p.m.

Paulding Elementary Christmas program in the auditeria, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 11 –

Payne Community Christmas Walk to benefit Payne Branch Library, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Purchase tickets at the library.

The Paulding United Methodist Church Women will host their annual Cookie Walk from 9 a.m.-noon in the fellowship hall. Homemade cookies, Christmas treats, candies and other miscellaneous items will be available for purchase.

Paulding Lions Club hosts Santa from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Paulding Eagles.

T.G.I.F. Giveaway at Cecil Presbyterian Church from 8-11 a.m.

Sunday, Dec. 12 –

Paulding High School choir concert at 3 p.m. in the auditeria.

The Van Wert Chapter of “The Compassionate Friends” will join in a worldwide candle lighting service at Vantage Career Center’s Cup and Saucer Restaurant. There will be a potluck carry-in dinner at 5:30 p.m., and the candle lighting will begin at 7 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 13 –

Neighbors In Need 105.7 The Bull live drive, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in Paulding.

Antwerp Jr./Sr. High School holiday choir concert at 7 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 14 –

Wayne Trace Grover Hill Christmas program at 1:30 and 7 p.m.

Oakwood Elementary choir and band concert at 7 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 16 –

Paulding County Senior Center holiday open house and evening meal. Open house with refreshments and bake sale from 4-5 p.m. Dinner at 5 p.m.; call for meal reservation at 419-399-3650.

Wayne Trace Grover Hill Christmas program at 7 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 17 –

Wayne Trace Payne Elementary Christmas program at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Wayne Trace Junior High holiday concert in the high school gym, 7 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 19 –

Antwerp Community Band concert at Antwerp School, 2 p.m.

Paulding High School winter band concert in the auditeria, 3:30 p.m.

Blue Christmas service of remembrance and reflection at 4 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 601 Flatrock Drive, Paulding. All are welcome to participate in this service.

Monday, Dec. 20 –

Paulding County Carnegie Library’s Winter Wonderland party for kids from 6-7:30 p.m.

Oakwood Elementary 2nd grade Christmas musical, 7 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 21 –

Paulding County Senior Center’s annual Christmas luncheon and gift exchange at 11:45 a.m.; for reservations call 419-399-3650.
