THE PERILS OF BLACK FRIDAY

When I was growing up, I never heard tell of my Mama, or any adult, going Christmas shopping on Black Friday. Plus, in those days, no one would ever put up a Christmas tree until December.

Personally, I have never had a lot of experience with shopping on what they call Black Friday. For the past several years, I had heard of some very good sales the day after Thanksgiving, but really didn’t think about participating in them. I am usually slow in shopping and I wait until later on in December to get my wares.
