WIC names new breast feeding peer assistant

PAULDING – Jessica Akom of Paulding is the new breastfeeding peer helper of the Paulding County WIC program, located at the Paulding County Health Department. Akom began the newly created position in October. Her duties include assisting in the promotion, support and the teaching of breastfeeding to expectant mothers.
