Paulding Village Council unanimously approved the 2011 village budget of $5,033,694 during Monday’s meeting.

The budget approved for 2011 is only $18,274 more than the 2010 budget, but $747,884 more that the 2010 actual expenditures.

The 2011 appropriations (with 2010 actual figures in parentheses) are: General fund $350,000 ($450,000); Income tax fund $410,000 ($410,000); Street light levy fund $69,000 ($75,000); Street construction fund $420,000 ($167,000); State highway improvement fund $12,000 ($7,000); Drug law enforcement fund $100 ($0);
