Quick start, Hockenberry propel Raiders to easy win over Panthers

HAVILAND – The girls’ version of the Paulding County rivalry between Wayne Trace and Paulding took place last week with the Lady Raiders rolling to a 60-22 win over the Panthers.

The senior trio of Kacee Hockenberry, Janelle Davis and Jo Ellen Fickel along with junior Sarah Feasby got the Raiders off to the quick start. Hockenberry led the way with seven points in the opening stanza but also recorded six assists and three steals in the period for the Raiders.
