After visiting with Cheryl a few days ago, I’ve had a totally different outlook this holiday season.

It’s nearly a year and a half since she found out that she was suffering from a rare form of bile duct cancer, one so rare that even the Mayo Clinic is just experimenting with its treatment.

The diagnosis came after an operation for another perceived bowl disorder. When her symptoms worsened instead of improved, doctors and specialists began to examine her failing health. It was then that an oncologist discovered the rare form of cancer.
