A continuation of the recap of 2010 local news stories as reported by the Progress:

July

Week of July 7 – As part of the Hometown Marine billboard campaign, Staff Sgt. Mark S. Barnes of Paulding was honored at an unveiling ceremony on the north edge of Paulding; Local farmers have been busy in the past week bringing in the wheat harvest.

Week of July 14 – Ohio Department of Agriculture finds bovine tuberculosis in cows at Oolman Dairy west of Paulding. A total of 632 cows are destroyed; The new boat docks at Oakwood are completed, as are the new ball fields at Lela McGuire Jeffery Park.
