County seeking new dog warden

PAULDING – The Paulding County commissioners are currently seeking to fill the post of dog warden for the county.

According to the commissioners’ journal, an executive session was held on Dec. 29 with Paulding County Prosecutor Joe Burkard.

Then, in regular session, Commissioners Tony Burkley, Tony Zartman and Edward Straley passed a resolution to terminate Amanda Lichty as county dog warden, effective immediately. No reason was stated.
