It’s been over 30 years since I heard my parents make that statement at the birth of our children, Julie, Sandi and Jason.

I knew that they were telling the truth, but it still didn’t really sink into – until 1:35 p.m. last Friday afternoon when our first grandchild, Kirston Brynn Langham, was born to Jason and his wife, Cindi.
