Should the county emergency management agency office duties be a separate office?
Archers capture two wins

ANTWERP – The Antwerp Archers put together back-to-back road wins by beating GMC-rival Fairview 56-35 Friday night and besting North Central 51-48 the next night.

With the wins Antwerp improves to 8-5 on the season, but more importantly keeps pace in the GMC title chase. Antwerp, Tinora and Edgerton are all 3-1 in the league and tied for second place behind surprise league leaders Ayersville, which is 4-0. But, the Pilots have yet to play any of those second place teams. So the race is still wide open.

“We are taking it one game at a time,” said Antwerp coach Scott McMichael about the league. “We are in the hunt and we control our own destiny. But we are not looking ahead. This past week was step one of four final steps we have left.”
