| Archers capture two wins |

By STEVE MAJOR Sportswriter ANTWERP – The Antwerp Archers put together back-to-back road wins by beating GMC-rival Fairview 56-35 Friday night and besting North Central 51-48 the next night. With the wins Antwerp improves to 8-5 on the season, but more importantly keeps pace in the GMC title chase. Antwerp, Tinora and Edgerton are all 3-1 in the league and tied for second place behind surprise league leaders Ayersville, which is 4-0. But, the Pilots have yet to play any of those second place teams. So the race is still wide open. “We are taking it one game at a time,” said Antwerp coach Scott McMichael about the league. “We are in the hunt and we control our own destiny.
