PAULDING – Lilly Dearing, age 4, of Paulding, is currently in Texas undergoing treatments for Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (inoperable brain tumor).
Fund-raisers were held for Lilly to travel to the famed Burzynski Clinic in Houston. The family decided to try a different type of treatment with a doctor who has had great success with this type of tumor.
Lilly was diagnosed with the tumor in January. She and her parents, Mandy Briner and Todd Dearing, arrived in Texas in early February. The preschooler received her first treatment on Feb. 14.
Lilly’s grandmother, Tammy Saul, is keeping the community updated during this difficult time.
