Panthers' dream season ends

NAPOLEON – There were tears and disappointment following Paulding’s 56-39 district championship loss to Archbold on Saturday night, but there was also a lot of burgundy, pride and a sense of community that could be directly credited to this year’s Panther boys’ achievement on the hardwood court.

Head coach Shawn Brewer, who has received various area awards for coaching expertise, credited the “boys and the fans” for this year’s success. Following the contest, the mentor said that he hopes that younger players in the program will be inspired by the community spirit and by observing the happiness that such success can bring.
