Hockenberry takes second POY award

All three high school girls basketball teams in Paulding County enjoyed a successful season in 2010-11, but the Player of the Year award has a familiar name on the receiving end.

Wayne Trace senior guard Kacee Hockenberry picks up her second consecutive Paulding County Girls Basketball Player of the Year honor for 2010-11 by the Paulding County Progress after being unanimously selected by coaches and media members from throughout the county.

Hockenberry led the Lady Raiders to the first unbeaten regular season in the girls’ program history and a fourth straight Green Meadows Conference championship.
