The effects of the downturn in our economy are being felt in west central and northwest Ohio, where the number of families needing assistance to keep nutritious food on the table is on the rise. In response to this critical need, on Tuesday, April 5, Chief Supermarket is sponsoring Good Neighbor Day at all store locations. This is the third annual Good Neighbor Day at Chief. More than $70,000 has been donated to local food pantries since 2009.
