This story comes from a Rack reader who goes to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church near Grover Hill.

She says it happened to a couple who clean the church each week. When they opened the building, they discovered, of all things, it had been invaded by a wood duck and reasoned it might have found its way in by going down the chimney.

The two started chasing the duck and quickly found the duck was a fast runner and a high flyer. He began creating havoc by knocking things down off high shelves. Some decorations hit the floor.
