Tinora plated two runs in the bottom of the seventh to defeat Antwerp in the Green Meadows Conference opener for both schools Thursday.

Ashlee Smith had two doubles to pace the Archers while Toni Winslow added two singles. Jayla Chamberlain took the loss on the mound for the blue and white, striking out nine while giving up seven hits and a walk.

The two squads were tied at 2-2 entering the seventh before Antwerp got one run in the top half of the inning. However, Tinora rallied for the win by plating two scores in the home half.
