| Marathon raises $10,000 |

By JIM LANGHAM Feature Writer PAYNE – The 33rd Annual Paulding County Crippled Children and Adult Society Marathon enjoyed good success this past weekend as 118 teams participated in an event that had to be extended an extra three hours to accommodate all of those involved. In the end, the Marathon garnered in excess of $10,000 toward the county’s Crippled Children and Adult Society, second only to the totals rung up 12 years ago in the 21st event.
