Cooper purchases Kettenring C.C.

DEFIANCE – Eagle Rock Golf Club, formerly Kettenring Country Club, will host an informational meeting on Thursday, May 5 at their Clubhouse on Carpenter Road. Gary Cooper, of Oakwood, recently purchased the club and has begun implementing many improvements throughout the business, to take place over the next three months.

“I have lived in this community all my life,” said Gary Cooper. “And I am very proud that I am able to carry on the heritage of Kettenring Golf Club for the enjoyment of Northwest Ohio’s golfing community. As a part of this transition, we are designing and planning a brand new restaurant concept for the beautiful clubhouse overlooking the golf course for everyone’s dining pleasure. It’s sure to be a delicious addition to the community.”
