We had a message from friend Bill Nay, a life resident of Missouri. He says that between the towns of Harrisonville and Warsaw is the tiny village of Tightwad. He says there is nothing much in the town of Tightwad but a small bank. The bank so far has been very successful since everyone for miles around wants a checking account there and can have “Tightwad” on their checks.

We have a story about bathing suits, a topic that is beginning to be of interest to many as we slip into June. Just a few days ago it was still too cool to think about bathing suits. This tale was related by a family going to Florida and planning to wear the warm weather items where the sun shines warmly on exposed skin even in March.
