From Staff Reports PAULDING – An inspection by state fire marshals earlier this month has resulted in a citation and orders for the former Hotel Barnes in Paulding. The citation was issued by the State of Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of State Fire Marshal and signed on June 24. Named as responsible persons for the vacant structure are: Carol Gross, Contemporary Caterers Inc., corporation, Paulding; and Aaron T. Powell, owner, Defiance. Powell was purchasing the building on land contract from Contemporary Caterers.
