PAYNE — A big family reunion took place at the home of Lorraine Schaefer of Payne. Attending the event were families from five different countries who were all former exchange students of the Schaefer family.

Lorraine Schaefer celebrated her 85th birthday on June 20 and the reunion was geared around that date. It took a lot of planning and a detailed agenda to get everyone together at the same time. Each student was from different countries and had families of their own now.
