The Rock wants supporters to 'rock the vote'

PAYNE – The board of trustees of “The Rock,” a nonprofit Christian Community Center for kids, located at 104 Main St. in Payne, is scrambling to find support for the ministry in a unique way.

The center was recently chosen by Pepsi to compete for the remainder of July in a contest called The Pepsi Refresh Project. The Rock’s board president, Doug Roop, told other board members of the selection July 9, the day he left for a week-long Youth For Christ camping trip up north.
