OAKWOOD – Jeff and Melinda Spangler of Oakwood and John and Brenda Adams of Scott have announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Tara Spangler and Matthew Adams.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Paulding High School and a student at Rhodes State College where she is pursuing her RN and BSN. She is employed as an LPN at The Meadows of Kalida.

Her fiancé is a 2002 graduate of Wayne Trace High School and earned an associates degree in agriculture business from UNOH. He is employed at the Archbold Equipment Company in Ottawa.

The couple will exchange wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at the Auglaize Chapel Church of God.
