By Nancy Whitaker MIND YOUR MANNERS I constantly ask myself, “What happened to good old fashioned manners?” I am speaking of etiquette in our daily lives and how we have failed to practice it for several decades. We teach our kids the normal phases of “Please,” “Thank you” and “You’re welcome,” but is this enough? One thing I was taught at a very young age was table manners. For instance, my grandma had certain things that we could absolutely not do at the dining table. She would not put up with any singing, no chewing with your mouth open, no elbows on the table and we always had to clean up our plates.
