MELROSE — Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the first Gospel Fest at the Melrose United Methodist Church. The event will be held in the parking lot of the church.

Five gospel groups are set to take the stage at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 30. The schedule is as follows: Trinity will open the singing at 1 p.m.; the Denominations will sing at 2 p.m.; followed by the Carpenters (Burt family) at 3 p.m.; Legacy will perform at 4 p.m. and Eddie Hill and the Flat Foot Ramblers will finish up the concert at 5 p.m.
