Geist brings novel home
Latest

By JIM LANGHAM

Feature Writer

When Jean Ann Geist returns to her home town of Payne to do a book signing this Saturday, it will be a nostalgic ride from her home in the Bowling Green area to the cornfields and bean fields of the country in which she was raised.

The book signing will be  from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. July 30 at the Payne Library.

Geist, the daughter of Louis and Theresa Wannemacher, was raised outside of Payne and graduated from Payne High School in the class of 1966. In fact, it was the anticipation of her 25th class reunion that sowed seeds that grew into her self-published fiction book, Only in the Movies.
