Should the county emergency management agency office duties be a separate office?
Interim director enthusiastic about chamber

Feature Writer

A familiar face will greet those who step into the Paulding Chamber of Commerce office these days. Kim Sutton, former chamber director, has been appointed to serve as interim director following the retirement of current director Clip Clippinger. Sutton served as director from 1998-2001 before stepping down due to other responsibilities.

“I can’t tell you how strongly I feel about the importance of the chamber. Being a member of the chamber is an investment in our community,” said Sutton this past week. Things just don’t ‘happen.’ Progress is made through the efforts of many people working together. The chamber provides that avenue. Members of the chamber hold the key to making things happen. Their ideas, input and actions turn into results. Simply put, the Paulding Chamber of Commerce strives to make Paulding and the surrounding area a better place to live and to work.”
