A Penny For Your Thoughts

By Nancy Whitaker

If you drive a car very far, you may travel rough roads, country roads, city streets, toll roads and highways. Of course, the rules of the road change depending on when and where you are going.

Sometimes, you encounter a lot of traffic on the highways with vehicles such as trucks, cars, motor homes, and motorcycles all racing to go some where. If you are like me and have that tendency to wonder about things, you might ask yourself, “Where is everyone going? What is that person’s story and what sort of lives do they lead?”

Perhaps, that white mini van is being driven by a tired working Mom on her way home to prepare dinner for her family. Maybe she is thinking that she has to hurry and take her son to football practice right after supper. Her thoughts are racing.
