BROUGHTON – If you’ve ever lived in or near Broughton, had friends in Broughton, driven through Broughton or wished you could live in Broughton, then there is a party for you.

The small village of Broughton, population approximately 200, is gearing up for its sixth annual Broughton Redneck Jamboree on Aug. 13. This event will bring the village alive with the many activities that are planned for the one-day event.

Old friends will visit and reacquaint, there will be lots of games for kids and adults, local musicians will be playing lots of good music, a hog roast, raffles, fireworks and more.
