PAULDING — Dave and Jane Nice of Paulding have announced the engagement  and approaching marriage of their daughter, Joy, to Joel Coughlin, son of Jim and Beth Coughlin of Antwerp.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Paulding High School. She graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor of science in accounting. She is currently employed as a tax accountant at Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus.

Her fiancé is a 2006 graduate of Antwerp High School. He received a bachelor of science in business administration and human resources management from Franklin University. He is currently employed by the Transportation Security Administration at Columbus International Airport.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church in Paulding.
