PAULDING – Do you want to get a good deal, have a lot of fun and help out kids in the meantime? You will be able to do that on Saturday, Aug. 20 as the Defiance Area Youth For Christ holds its annual auction. The event will be held at the Paulding County Extension Building located at the fairgrounds.

The auction will kick off at 9 a.m. with a bake sale featuring over 150 items. Get your morning sweets and eat them here, drink a cup of coffee, or load up on some home-baked goodies to take home.

At 9:30 a.m., the bidding begins. Excitement will run high as bidders get ready to buy. Major items this year include a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix donated by Ottawa Chevrolet, 5x8 utility trailer with ramp and lights, new Cub Cadet riding mower, guns, and much more.
