PAULDING – Mr. and Mrs. James J. Caris of Paulding will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary.

James Caris and Lyla Kay Wilkin were married on Aug. 26, 1961, in Grover Hill.

The couple has five children, Sharon (David) Arens, and Bruce (Cheryl), both of Sherwood, James M. (Angie) of Fort Wayne, Brian (Susan) of Lima and Karen Caris, Paulding. They have four grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate the special occasion with a family gathering.
