By JAROD ROSEBROCK Sportswriter EDON – Antwerp’s season got off to a rough start Friday night against the Bombers of Edon. After the Archers were able to hold the Bombers at bay and end the first quarter with a score of 0-0, Edon started taking advantage of holes in the Archer defense and quickly pulled away. The Bombers were up by 20 at the end of the half and won the game 45-12. While the quarter ended at 0-0, The Archers looked like the more physical team. They held Edon to 7 total yards of offense in the first quarter while piling 48 yards of their own. According to Bomber head coach Scott Staten, Edon knew that Antwerp would come into the game trying to stop Edon’s rushing attack and in particular Shannon Geren.
