By JIM LANGHAM Sportswriter HAVILAND – The Wayne Trace Raiders football team came out with a mission in mind on Friday evening. Within minutes of the opening kickoff, the Raiders’ intentions of being a team to reckon with in the Green Meadows Conference was evident as the red, white and blue jumped into a 20-0 first quarter advantage en route to a 62-14 win over a hapless Holgate team. Raider head coach Bill Speller credited a couple of strategy moves, plus a tenacious defensive performance, for his squad’s pounding of the visiting Tigers. “We moved (Austin) Speice to the offensive line. He did a great job; he adds a lot of toughness to the line,” said Speller. “The move is something we had kind of talked about. Then Austin talked to us and volunteered for the move, if it was what we felt was best for the team.
