Panthers lose contest at Ada

By KEVIN WANNEMACHER

Sportswriter

ADA – In weather that felt like more like week nine or week 10, week six wasn’t very friendly to the Paulding football team as the Panthers fell at Ada 56-12 on homecoming night at War Memorial Stadium.

The contest was controlled by the Bulldogs from start to finish and included six touchdown passes by Bulldog senior quarterback Konnor Baker. Baker ended the game 18 of 27 through the air for 266 yards in three quarters of action.

Ada struck quickly, using a 43-yard touchdown pass to Cole Simon to get an early 6-0 lead. The Bulldogs pushed the margin to 12-0 after one quarter following a 10-yard pass to Jacob Ansley.
