THE JUICY DETAILS (of an apple)

With October being National Apple Month, for some reason I started to think about apples and their many uses. Apples are not only good to eat, they are also good for you. In fact, we are all familiar with that old saying, “An apple a day, keeps the doctor away.”

We’ll start at the beginning: in the Garden of Eden, according to the Bible, Eve could not resist eating that forbidden apple. Then poor little Eve made big old Adam eat one too. You know the rest of the story. The couple was kicked out of their garden home which led to man’s fall from grace.

Actually, apples and apple products have a lot more uses than what you think. Sure, they taste great and are good for you, but that’s just the beginning. Here are a few interesting ways to use an apple:
