Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Arend

Danielle Pegan, of Huntington, and Patrick Arend, of Paulding, were united in marriage on May 4, 2011 in Georgetown, Grand Cayman Island.

The bride’s parents are Gary and Rita Pegan, of Huntington.

Mike and Pam Arend, of Paulding, are the groom’s parents.

The Rev. Oral McLaughlin officiated the double ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless gown, with sweetheart neckline, accented with crystal beads and carried a mixture of white flowers.

The matron of honor was Kimberly Meyer, of Huntington. She wore a purple dress.

Brian Arend, of Perrysburg, was the best man.

A reception was held on June 11 at Sheriff’s Reserve, in Fort Wayne.

After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Huntington.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Huntington North High School and graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2003. She is employed in purchasing at Dean Foods.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Paulding High  School and attended the University of Toledo. He is employed as a department head for Kroger.
