Christmas carols are such a vital part of our holiday season. We are still singing some of the same songs our parents and grandparents sang.

However, I remember when I was in the sixth grade, our school put on a Christmas program. One of the songs we sang was, “I’m Gettin Nuttin for Christmas.” At that time I had never heard the song and I do remember that my line to sing was, “I made Tommy eat a bug.”
