In my Opinion

In my opinion we stand at a challenging point in time, a period in which the new rules of the last century are being superseded by the rules of the new one. We have 3,700 governmental entities in the state of Ohio, give or take a few. For political subdivisions, or businesses like mine, there are two new realities: (1) we will not have the resources to conduct business as we have in the past; (2) we will need to abandon outdated practices and devise more effective ones. Neither reality will be easy. The next several years will require hard choices and unpopular decisions that will test our mettle and challenge our ingenuity.
