HICKSVILLE 14, ANTWERP 1
Antwerp dropped a pair of games to rival Hicksville in non-league play on Saturday. The Aces recorded a 10-0 win in game one before following that up with a 14-1 victory in the second contest.
Kaden Brumett took the loss in game one, giving up one hit and two runs in three innings of work while fanning two.
Colton Hamman suffered the loss in the second tilt, allowing five hits, three runs and a walk in three innings while posting two strikeouts.
TINORA 14, PAULDING 2
Tinora posted nine runs in the first inning and cruised to a 14-2 win over Paulding Friday night.
Alberto Flint suffered the loss, allowing four hits and three walks. Treston Gonzales led the Panther offense with a double.
LINCOLNVIEW 18, ANTWERP 8
Lincolnview scored five runs each in the first and fourth in pulling away for an 18-8 victory over Antwerp.
The Lancers added three runs each in the second and third while plating their final two in the seventh.
Kaden Brumett and Andy Coleman each had three singles with Drew Taylor adding a single and two doubles. Trenton Copsey also had two singles for the blue and white.
W. TRACE 4, CRESTVIEW 2
Wayne Trace picked up its third victory of the season with a 4-2 win over rival Crestview Friday night.
Broc Forrer recorded the win for the Raiders, striking out three while allowing seven hits and two walks.
Cade Harvey, Dylan Horner and Colby Speice all had two singles for the red, white and blue while Austin Speice added a double.
TINORA 10, WAYNE TRACE 0
The Raiders hung tough early with highly touted Tinora but the Rams plated eight runs in the fourth to pull away for a 10-0 victory.
Horner suffered the loss, giving up seven hits while fanning and walking three. Ryan Jewell had a double and Aaron Stoller a single for the only Raider hits.
O-G 12, WAYNE TRACE 1
Ottawa Glandorf scored six times in the second and added five more in the seventh to post a 12-1 win over the Raiders in non-league play.
Nick McClain suffered the loss for Wayne Trace. Jewell paced the Raider offense with a single and a double.
ANTWERP 13, WAYNE TRACE 4
Antwerp opened an 11-0 lead as the Archers rolled to a 13-4 victory over Wayne Trace in Green Meadows Conference play.
Zach Coleman pitched seven innings, striking out 10, to record the victory for Antwerp. Colby Speice took the loss for Wayne Trace with Cade Harvey and Nick McClain having the only Raider hits.
FAIRVIEW 9, ANTWERP 1
Fairview rolled to a 9-1 win over Antwerp as Blaine Murray scattered two hits and two walks in five innings of work.
PAULDING 7, JEFFERSON 6
Paulding posted a 7-6 win over Delphos Jefferson behind Jason Koenn, who ripped two singles and a double for the Panthers.
Javier Gonzales picked up the victory on the hill for the local squad. Michael Bauer and Zach Gawronski also had two singles each for Paulding.
