Special needs classrooms across Ohio receive $200,000 in funding for assistive technology initiatives

COLUMBUS – eTech Ohio announces the recipients of 20 $10,000 Mobile Assistive Technology grants. Funds were awarded to selected schools through a competitive statewide Request For Proposals process. The grants will fund the implementation of mobile assistive technologies (tablets, e-readers, smart phones, braille notes, to-go licensing of software, etc.) for special needs learners.
